![]() Another important note is that NPF is a legacyĭriver and is implemented as NDIS5 protocol. ![]() ![]() My user-mode application is using NPF to sniff packets, and is polling the list of available interfaces every 10 seconds and if applicable, it uses the winpcap's interface to re-bind to all available interfaces. I've recently came across a bug with the NPF driver (Winpcap), and tracing it led me to believe that NDIS is to blame.
